More Dragons on the Ice! Groleau, Valentsov, Reilly, Parker and Spencer Foo Sign with Shanghai Dragons

Defenseman Jeremy Groleau joins the Shanghai Dragons on a two-year contract.Adding further depth, Shanghai Dragons also signed one-year contracts with defensemen Vladislav Valentsov and Will Reilly, and forwards Parker and Spencer Foo.

– Jeremy Groleau brings size and mobility to our blue line. He skates well, plays very physical game and has a powerful shot. He’s a real asset on the penalty kill. Will Reilly, his fellow Canadian,is another sizable bluelinerwith good skating. As a right-handed defenseman, he’s able tomove the puck effectively, jump into the play, and can be used on the second power-play unit. Another defenseman, Vladislav Valentsov, is physically strong, big, and mobile. His stick-handling is very effective and he consistently comes out on top in one-on-one battles, and adds value on the penalty kill. Up front, the Foo brothers add speed and scoringchances. Parker is a speedy, gritty winger who competes at a high tempo and contributes on the penalty kill. Spencer proved himself astrue scorer last season, recording 35 points, including 17 goals. He’s a strong, athletic forward who puts in the hard work, plays a team-first game, and is effective on special teams. He’s not afraid to stand up for himself or his teammates.
