Shanghai Dragons Sign Goaltender Dmitry Shikin
The Shanghai Dragons have signed goaltender Dmitry Shikin to a contract through the end of the current season.
Shikin brings extensive KHL experience, having appeared in 280 league games with Amur, SKA, Atlant, HC Sochi, Kunlun Red Star, Avtomobilist, and Vityaz. Over his KHL career, he has recorded 82 wins, posting a goals-against average of 2.71 and a save percentage of .913.
Igor Varitsky, General Manager of the Shanghai Dragons:
“Following Patrick Rybar’s injury, it was important for us to add depth at the goaltending position. Dmitry Shikin is a seasoned goaltender with significant KHL experience, strong reflexes, and excellent game awareness. We are confident that he will provide solid competition and strengthen our goaltending group.”
Shikin will wear number 88 for the Dragons.
