Forward Troy Josephs Joins the Shanghai Dragons

The Shanghai Dragons have signed Canadian forward Troy Josephs to a contract through the end of the season.

In the KHL, Josephs has played 124 games with Lada, Metallurg, and HC Sochi, tallying 56 points (30 goals, 26 assists) and posting a +4 plus-minus rating.

“With the number of injuries we’ve been dealing with, we have to respond accordingly. It’s important for the coaching staff to have different types of forwards to choose from, and we also have to keep in mind the importance of depth and internal competition. Troy Josephs is a skilled forward who can create plays both on his own and in combination with teammates. He reads the game well and is capable of both scoring and making quality passes.”

Josephs will wear number 16 for the Dragons.
