Shanghai Dragons Sign Vladimir Kuznetsov to One-Year Contract

The Shanghai Dragons have signed forward Vladimir Kuznetsov to a one-year contract after the player previously accepted the club’s qualifying offer.

During the 2025–26 season, Kuznetsov appeared in 44 games for Shanghai, recording 14 points on eight goals and six assists.

“Vladimir Kuznetsov is strong in battles and brings persistence and determination to his game,” said Evgeny Artyukhin, general manager of the Shanghai Dragons. “He is a big forward who can create scoring chances on his own, support his teammates and score both under pressure and with a direct shot. He reads the game well and helps the team defensively. As a two-way forward, he will help strengthen our offense in the new season.”

With the signing, the Dragons retain a versatile, hard-working forward who brings size, scoring ability and reliable play at both ends of the ice.
