Shanghai Dragons Announce Summer Preseason Plans

The Shanghai Dragons are less than a month away from opening preseason camp, with the club outlining its summer schedule ahead of the 2026–27 KHL season.

The Dragons will begin with medical testing in Saint Petersburg before traveling to Minsk for its first training camp. The camp will conclude with the Dragons taking part in the Minsk Cup, a preseason tournament featuring KHL opponents.

The second half of August will be spent in Moscow, where the team will hold its second training camp at PSB Patriot. During that camp, Shanghai will play a preseason friendly against Spartak Moscow.

Later in the month, the Dragons will meet their Moscow fan base at the Mayor of Moscow Cup, continuing their preseason schedule against high-level competition.

Shanghai will return to Saint Petersburg in early September before opening the new KHL regular season on September 6 in Nizhnekamsk against Neftekhimik.
