Shanghai Dragons Set to Compete in 2026 Mayor of Moscow Cup

The Shanghai Dragons will take part in the Mayor of Moscow Cup for the second consecutive preseason, as the club continues preparations for the 2026–27 KHL campaign.

The tournament will be held from August 27–30, 2026, at Megasport Arena named after A.V. Tarasov in Moscow. This year’s edition is set to feature a record number of teams, with eight clubs taking part – a rare field for a KHL preseason tournament.

Shanghai will compete in Group B, where the Dragons will face Dynamo Moscow, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.

The placement games for fifth and third place, as well as the tournament final, are scheduled for August 30.

Information regarding ticket sales for the Mayor of Moscow Cup will be announced separately.
